Getting started doesn't have to be complicated.
Send a message, request the intake form, or just look around. No pressure, no intake process yet — just a first step.
The practical part.
What does it cost?
Sessions are $240, self-pay. I don't bill insurance. You'll always know what something costs before it happens.
How do sessions work?
50 minutes, either in person in Vancouver or online anywhere in Washington. Same conversation, whichever way you're comfortable.
What does "student therapist" actually mean?
It means I'm finishing my MA in Counseling at Northwestern, and every hour of my work is supervised by Dr. Rebecca Glose, LMHC. In practice, that means two sets of trained eyes on your care instead of one.
What happens after you hit send?
I read it myself, and I'll reply within 48 hours. Usually the next step is a short call to see whether we're a fit. Paperwork comes later, once you've decided this is right.
If You're in Crisis
I'm not available for crisis intervention between sessions. If you're experiencing a mental health emergency:
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
Call 988 or text 988
Emergency services
Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
Send a message.
If you're curious about working together, send me a message. There's no intake process at this stage, and nothing you need to prepare. I'll get back to you within 48 hours.
That didn't go through. Try once more, or email me directly at katherine@heartbridge.life. Either way, I'll get back to you within 48 hours.
