Common questions
I got a new phone - where are my notes?
Notes live only on the device. They move to a new phone only through your own encrypted iPhone backup. Without a backup, they cannot be recovered - not even by us. That is by design.
Face ID is not opening the app.
The app also accepts your device passcode. If neither works, iPhone Settings > Face ID & Passcode is the place to check.
How do I share notes with my therapist?
Nothing is ever shared automatically. The Therapist summary screen has a share option. You choose if, when, and how.
How do I delete everything?
Delete any note inside the app, or delete the app itself. Everything in it goes with it. We hold no copies.
Is this app therapy?
No. It is a companion to work with a licensed clinician - not EMDR, not treatment, not crisis care. If you need help right now: call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911 in an emergency.
