EMDR Companion is built so that we never touch your data.
Everything stays on your phone.
EMDR Companion is offered by Heartbridge LLC ("we"). Every note you write is stored only on your device. The app has no accounts, no cloud service, and no server. We cannot read, receive, or recover anything you write.
Nothing is collected.
The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party software kits. It makes no network connections with your data. Its App Store privacy label, "Data Not Collected," means exactly that.
Your notes are sealed.
Notes are encrypted on the device, and the app locks behind Face ID or your device passcode. If the app is closed or the phone changes hands, the room re-seals.
Sharing is yours alone.
The only way anything leaves the app is if you choose to show or send the therapist summary yourself, using the iPhone share sheet. Where it goes is then your choice.
Deleting.
Delete a note and it is gone. Delete the app and everything in it is gone with it - we hold no copy anywhere. Notes survive only as part of your own encrypted phone backup, if you keep one.
Children.
The app is intended for clients of our practice and is not directed at children.
